Rough Weekend for UW-Whitewater

Our team went into battle this weekend, playing Depauw, Luther, and Washington University. Depauw and Washington University are both ranked higher than the Whitewater Warhawks, which are ranked 18th Nationally in DIII Women's Tennis.

Warhawks Fall to Washington University

The Warhawk women's tennis team fell to Washington University 7-2 Saturday at the Cherokee Country Club in Madison. The Warhawks are ranked eighteenth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III poll and Washington University is ranked fourteenth. The loss today moves the UW-Whitewater tennis team to 17-5 on the season.

Leading the way for the Warhawks were Lauren Aguilar taking home a singles victory and Kalla Schaefer and Michelle Daciolas chalking up a win in doubles. Aguilar's win is her eighteenth of the season. The duo of Schaefer and Daciolas have achieved twenty-one wins this season.

The Warhawks' next home match will be a doubleheader on Saturday April 18th against Edgewood College and Elmhurst College.
